The Hirsche Foundation is a
charity based in Heckmondwike,
Our charitable objectives are “The relief of poverty of the homeless in West Yorkshire by providing items, services and facilities to homeless people in need and/or charities, or other organisations, working to relieve the poverty of the homeless.”
We have a strong desire to help those around us who find themselves in a state of homelessness and need a helping hand to resume a normal life and take an active role in their futures.
We can’t do this alone. If you know of any projects that we could get involved in or if you would like to partner with us in future projects, then please contact us;
Let’s change lives together.
We had the privilege of visiting Candlelighters – a Yorkshire based charity supporting families facing children’s cancer – and presenting them with two signed football shirts to auction and raise funds for their wonderful cause.
As part of the visit we were shown round the Children’s Cancer Ward at Leeds Children’s Hospital to see some of the important work that Candlelighters do to support children and families dealing with cancer.
This was a humbling and moving experience, and one which highlighted just how valuable and needed Candlelighters is in our region.
We are pleased to announce that the Hirsche Foundation and the Leeds United Foundation will be supporting Candlelighters.
